The breakfast was superb, with options accommodating all dietary needs—thanks, Richard! Location was great too! Just wished the shower had more pep and that our room was a tad bigger. 😊

A huge variety of goodies for breakfast.

What a quaint little stay, but towels were damp and the kettle was ridiculously large for the tap. I nearly considered leaving a good review, but it baffles me how a nice place like this lacks a local shuttle service! A complimentary gesture would've made all the difference, considering their track record. Poor show, really.

It has stunning and peaceful position to the event we were attending later in the day. There's The Donut Nest relatively near the hotel, they have tea/coffee/desserts...

village location, characterful old house, large clean bathroom
Shower pressure could use a boost!!! Decor feels tired and in need of a refresh!!! A fridge in the room would make stays more convenient!!!

The Standard Twin Room left a lot to be desired, as the two single beds were merely pushed together with no fitted sheet. The shower had some serious issues, overflowing into the bathroom and leaking down to the room below, less than ideal. We also faced a letdown with the breakfast schedule, being unable to enjoy the cooked option we had paid for because of the early start we needed.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the breakfast that was well-prepared and served with kindness. The location had a unique charm, and the owner was nice and helpful. I had a pleasant surprise finding a local pub within walking distance, easy to relax after a long day. Traveling with friends, I found the atmosphere cute and accommodating.
The shower pressure could be better, and I think there should be a fridge in the room for convenience.

Perfect for quiet escapes
I enjoyed the charming old world feels of the place and the fine views every morning while sipping tea in the garden. The breakfast was fantastic too with fresh fruit and a hearty full English that fueled my day.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but the experience was worth it.

Convenient location for the event we were going to later in the day. Plus, it's just a mile away from a big public park where we could chill 🌳.
